I really like what i see in the screenshots but I want to test this out on a local mac setup (like wordpress on mamp).
Can someone please create a tutorial showing how to do this step by step.

Is there a feature list comparing this to activecollab? Please someone compare active collab with railscollab who is ranked high in Google to bring this to more peoples attention. I am amazed that this does not come up when people search for activecollab. Any blog reviews of this compared to http://activecollab.com?

It's too bad that RailsCollab in its current state (as of today) is seriously broken. I can't get it to install without it complaining that a table 'wiki_pages' doesn't exist.

Well, James joined Teambox which can be seen as a logical continuation of this project. It's open-source too, and actively maintained.

The current version of railscollab should work fine. Make sure you follow the setup instructions.
As Pablo says, i am currently focussing my attention on Teambox, so i cannot dedicate as much time as i would otherwise to RailsCollab.
If you or anyone else feels unhappy with the project in its current state, i openly support any forks to continue on the codebase in a better fashion.
