Redmine is like your own locally hosted Basecamp. Very nice look and feel and a lot of features. A must try thing if you want a Basecamp-like project management software behind your firewalls. This application is a gem for project management and is the best I've seen yet among FOSS tools.
My only complain is the repository creation from within the app could be more streamlined a lot. Everything else is really good. Don't buy my word, give it a try and feel the difference.

One of the best tool in its category!
Very sharp - and to the point.
And I got it up and functionally running in less than 10 minutes!
I'm planning to switch from plain jane Bugzilla to Redmine.

redmine is simple and clean. i love it. really!
thanks for the great tool.
PS: I'd like to create my own projects (user's project)
PS: i installed railscollab. railscollad is fancy with ajax stufss but my clients find hard to use it :)

Agree with Gaveen. Excellent application, except the repository creation. Can someone give me a hit on how to create the repository from within the web app?
Thanks!

Is this project still being developed?

For sure!
Just follow the project's home page link.
In fact there are not so many projects of such a quality and a development history.

This app is awesome. I tried basecamp, TRAC, JIRA, bugzilla, mantis and many more....
IMHO redmine is beating them all! Just hope Jean-Philippe is keeping up his excellent work :)
