About Insoshi

The Insoshi open-source social networking platform grew out of RailsSpace, the social network developed in the book RailsSpace: Building a Social Networking Website with Ruby on Rails by Michael Hartl and Aurelius Prochazka (Addison-Wesley, July 2007).  Insoshi already has more features than RailsSpace, and will add more quickly as the project progresses.

The current version of Insoshi has the following features:
